In PVsell, you can fine-tune the solar adjustments. These parameters can be accessed by clicking the "Solar Adjustment" button located below the "Calculated System Price" table in your project's "System" tab, or in the system editing window in your library of systems.
1. Open your project's 'Site' tab

2. Select 'Upload' for the 'Array definition' to use your own solar production data file
This option allows you to upload your own solar performance data for each hour of the year.
You can upload into PVsell a solar output data file produced with a simulation program like PVsyst or PVWatts (free).

3. Upload a custom file
Your Custom Profile must be:
- a .csv file,
- with dates in the format d/m hh:mm (e.g., 18/2 01:00).
- it should a two-column file
- the second column should be kWh production from a 1kW solar array (as PVsell will up-scale the data).

4. Wait for the upload to complete

5. Specify the capacity of the system modelled within the data you uploaded
So that PVsell knows the capacity of the array that was modelled within your data, enter the capacity (in kW) of the array modelled within the datafile
Note that this array capacity value is completely independent of the array capacity entered in the site tab. PVsell will scale back the production data you upload here to a 1kW system, then scale this up to the array capacity you enter in the site tab.

Set the annual reduction in your system performance if necessary. Learn how to configure these settings: How can I set the annual degradation of the solar panels?
If you're using Helioscope to produce a performance calculation, a conversion is necessary, as Helioscope produces files in Watts rather than kW, and leaves hours with zero production blank (rather than specifying 0). The Helioscope output also contains far more information than PVsell needs. The file below helps you convert Helioscope data into a format that PVsell requires.
If you're using Aurora to produce a performance calculation, a conversion is necessary to get the date and time into the correct format. The Aurora output also contains far more information than PVsell needs. The file below helps you convert Aurora data into a format that PVsell requires.
