In PVsell there are two types of consumption profiles: meter data and trading/non-trading data.
What's the difference between Meter Data and Trading/Non-Trading Consumption Profiles?
If you have already received the real life data from your customer, provide the most accurate assessment possible by uploading this information to the consumption profile.
If you don't have your customer's interval metering data, you can do either of the following:
1. Load a similar consumption profile from our library
PVsell comes with a rich library of consumption profiles. We have gathered a collection of common consumption patterns from various industries and households.
Just load a similar consumption profile from our library and adjust any details specific for your project and/or customer. PVsell will help you locate the right consumption profile for your customer more quickly.
2. Create a profile for your customer's typical trading and non-trading days in each month
If you don't (yet) have interval metering data, you can use trading/non-trading data (i.e., set up a trading/non-trading type of consumption profile for the project). This is more easy to adjust than meter data.
Remember that you need to edit the data for trading days and non-trading days separately.
Then specify your customer's operating says per week.
You may want to scale the consumption profile in order to match your customer's daily average use. Learn more about scaling:
