A system consists of array sizes and panel configurations. A system also integrates pricing into its structure including any STC or LGC discounts. In PVsell you can specify which government incentives (if any) are applied to your system.

1. STCs are automatically calculated for you off the customer's location
The calculated STCs are based upon the customer's postcode and the array wattage.
Make sure you enter the system price prior to any government subsidy – PVsell will calculate the net customer price after STC discount for you.
If necessary, you can enter pre-STC prices
As an aside if you prefer to put in pre-STC prices, you can do so in the unsubsidised area and set the STC price to zero.
2. How to enter STCs
The quantity of STCs for your system is automatically calculated based on your system sizing and location. All you need to do is enter the STC price, and the quantity will auto-update from your location information.
2.1. Select "STCs"
When you enter your system price in PVsell, you can choose from STC or LGC government incentives. Select "STCs" here to continue specifying this government incentive.
2.2. Enter the value in $
Enter the value (in dollars) of each individual STC excluding GST for your system.
2.3. Add GST, if it's for GST Registered Customer
If the customer is registered for GST, then they can get a slightly cheaper system under ATO rules. So if your customer is purchasing the system under a GST registered entity, check the "Add GST to STC discount" box.
3. How to check the calculations
You can see the final system price calculated at the end in the "Calculated System Price" pane. Here you get a summary of information about your system pricing so that you can check it in order to ensure all pricing information has been entered and will be processed correctly.
