How can I edit bills that exist in my library?

In this manual we'll show how you can edit a bill that already exists in your library.

If you wish to add a new system to your library to be able to use it in later projects, and then edit it, you can refer to this manual:

In the above mentioned article you will also learn how you can make adjustments to a bill from the library directly within your project. If necessary, after you have tailored the loaded bill to your project, you will be able to save changes back to your Library of Bills either as a new entry or overwriting an existing one.

1. Click on the Libraries icon in the main menu (side menu)

2. Open the "Bills" tab

3. Click the Edit icon next to the Bill you wish to edit

If you wish to keep both versions of the Bill, for example, the current version you have in the library, and the modified version you will have after editing the bill, you can first click the Duplicate icon next to the bill you wish to edit, and then click the Edit icon to edit one of the duplicates.

I cannot find the Edit icon next to the Bill I wish to edit. How can I edit this Bill?

Note that this way you can only edit your library items.

The bills provided by PVsell can be edited within the project (after you load it from the library to the project).

These icons on the left of the library items list will help you identify which of the bills are PVsell library items, and which of them are Your library items:

5. Click "Save and return to Library", when you have made the necessary adjustments to this library item

At any stage of editing your bill information in the library, you can also click "Save and Edit" at the bottom of the Bill editing page to make progressive changes to your bill, thus modifying this library item gradually.

You can click "Save and return to Library" after any change as well, and come back to editing the bill information and settings for this library item anytime later.
